This Spirit Bear was peeking at us from under the cover of the dense trees that make up the Great Bear Rainforest. I love how the sun is highlighting part of the Spirit Bear while she is under the trees, and there is still some darkness to this image.
When we arrived on the river, we could see this Spirit Bear just down river, and I think it took over three hours until I was able to capture this image of her coming closer to us. Luckily, once she came close, she spent some time fishing and wading in the river in front of us, but this image would have been enough for me if it was all I got.
