An incredibly unique looking Black Bear that we saw during our 2017 trip to the Great Bear Rainforest.
The fur on this Black Bear was really different than the typical black bear, and it had a lot of sections of blond interwoven with the typical black fur. It was nice to see a Bear that does not just look like every other Black Bear in the area.
In addition to being a unique looking bear, it was also a really calm Black Bear to photograph. We watched as he walked along the rocks and shore looking for an easy meal of fish carcasses to help put on some winter weight.
