This photo is the epitome of what it’s like in the Great Bear Rainforest. The mossy greens, water, and rain that is typical in the Great Bear Rainforest in the fall, makes it one of the most unique places that I have visited to photograph wildlife, including Grizzly Bears. It can make it really hard to photograph elsewhere.
While photographing this Grizzly we were being pelted by rain of Hurricane Oho, however that didn’t stop the bear from going about his business, or stop us from photographing. Sticking it out in the tough conditions was well worth it when he picked this spot, on the edge of the water, as the place he was going to lay down to nap.
