Not only does this Grizzly Bear look like he is a bit down in the dumps, but the weather at the time this image was taken was also very gloomy, with torrential down pouring rain. At least this Grizzly Bear found a not so gloomy place to lay down to rest.
When people think about the Great Bear Rainforest they think of the rare Spirit Bears that are unique to the coast of British Columbia. But the Great Bear Rainforest is also home to Grizzly Bears, like this one, who during the fall visit the waterways to feast on fish before they head into hibernation.
