Eagle Falls

This image “Eagle Falls” was photographed during my 2015 in the Great Bear Rainforest, where we spent a few days enduring heavy rains from a passing hurricane.  I’m not sure if the waterfall in the background is always there or if it was just there because the heavy rains had nowhere else to go, but either way it made for a great backdrop for this Bald Eagle that was perched out on the branches of the tree in front of it.

I actually enjoy photographing in the rain because not only does it add some depth to the colors (as opposed to bright sun), but you can also get some unique situations, like this gushing waterfall.
