Fishing in the Fog

This is one of the three Spirit Bears that we saw during our 2017 Great Bear Rainforest trip.  And while our trip focuses on exploring the entire Great Bear Rainforest, not just focusing on the Spirit Bears, it is always special when you get to see one, and even better when you get to see three in one week.

This one was quite a tease for a while, he spent a great deal of time in sight, but too far away to really photograph, but after a couple hours decided to treat us, by catching this fish and showing it off, and then coming even closer and spending time eating fish eggs in a pool directly in front of us.

I like how in this image the fog is diffusing the bright sun that was shining on this day in the rainforest.
