I’ve seen this Grizzly Bear cub in the Great Bear Rainforest for the last three years, and every time I have seen him (or her) it has been raining, but never as hard as it rained when we saw them in 2016. Photographing in the pouring rain presents some unique challenges, with the toughest challenge being getting a sharp image through the rain (because even the best cameras want to stray away from the bear and catch the rain drops).
The one benefit to photographing in the heavy rains in the Great Bear Rainforest is that it can make for some super rich and nice colours, that aren’t often captured when photographing in the bright sunlight.
