These images were captured during my Great Bear Rainforest photo tours.
The Great Bear Rainforest comprises 6.4 million hectares of temperate rainforest along the central and north coast of British Columbia. It is home to Grizzly Bears, Black Bears, Bald Eagles and coastal Grey Wolves. The Great Bear Rainforest is probably the most well known for the rare Spirit Bears (or Kermode Bear) which is a Black Bear with a recessive gene that causes it to have a white coat. And while travelling the waterways we have captured Humpback Whales, Killer Whales, Dall’s Porpoises and many other marine mammals.
