A Steller Sea Lion is getting ready to dive into the water and join his buddies as they come out to check out our zodiac.

 

I like how this image has frozen him as he is using his read flippers to launch himself off the rocks, with the rest of his body airborne.

 

One of the hardest part about photographing Steller Sea Lions is being able to see where the action is happening, and isolating it from all the other Sea Lions and chaos around it.
