A Humpback Whale Catching Air during our 2019 Marine Mammals photo tour. This guy breached once, and only one person happened to be in the looking in the right spot at the right time. And then the whale was kind enough to go back down and breach again, and we were all able to get a shot of it. Satisfied that we all got the shot, the whale went back to feeding.
While in most years we see a Humpback Whale breach, being able to get a photo of it isn’t always possible, because the breaches can be very unpredictable, and sometimes happen before you even realize that there is a whale close-by. So we were all on a high from getting the chance on our 2019 trip.
