Maybe instead of Poised I should call this Bald Eagle Patience. Not only was this one of the most tolerant Bald Eagles that I have photographed, especially from a zodiac, but it was also showed a great deal of patience with not only us but it’s fishing.
It allowed us to get multiple angles from it’s first perch, and then ended up flying down even closer to us on a lower perch (with a nicer backdrop) for us to capture this image. It was also showed a great deal of patience with fishing, and waited quite a while watching little fish jumping out of the water beneath it before leaving the perch and nabbing a snack.
