Tufted Puffin

One of the appeals of visiting Gwaii Haanas National Park is that it is home to an estimated 1.5 million seabirds along the vast shorelines, providing the opportunity to see and potentially photograph a number of species, including ones I have not seen before.

The Tufted Puffin was one of the species of birds I was hoping to see, and we got fortunate to see them a couple of times on our trip.  Including this one, which happened to have a beak full of fish as it swam by the zodiac.  I like how the vibrant orange beak, and white head stand out from the rest of the body, and of course the added dynamic of having a bunch of fish.
