This Bald Eagle (which if you look closely has a fish in its talons) has had about enough of the antics of this Crow, and looks like it is screaming at him to “Back Off”. I was surprised to see how brazen the Crows were in this area, often stealing the fish away from the Bald Eagles, which given their size difference as you can see here, you wouldn’t think would be the case.
Not only would the crows steal the fish, but they also pestered the Bald Eagles, almost in an effort to distract them. I watched this one pull the tail feathers of the Bald Eagle every time it turned its back to feed…no wonder it looks angry.
