Despite how small he was, this owl was very accommodating, and didn’t seem to mind me taking his photo while it hunted, perched on posts, and even in a tree, whereas some other birds you don’t tend to get so lucky.
While Northern Hawk Owls live throughout Alberta, to get a chance to see one, and photograph it in flight was awesome.
