This family photo was captured in 2013 in one of Calgary’s city parks.  A unique thing about Calgary is that although it’s a big city with over one million people, the parks within the city offer an abundance of wildlife of different varieties.

 

This image captures two of the three chicks that were in the nest that year, along with either the mother (or father).  It’s striking how the chicks all were quite different in appearances despite sharing parents.
