Snowy & Frosty

I do not love taking photos of birds on man-made structures including fence posts, unless I’m just out testing new gear, and that’s all I have to work with.

This is one exception when I saw it I held my breath hoping that I would not scare the owl away and make it fly.  I love the detail in the frost of the post the owl is on and how it fades into the background of the image.  It was also nice to grab a few shots and then leave this owl to her business, without scaring her off.
