A vibrant Mountain Bluebird in Southern Alberta poses for me at the end of one of the limbs of a small tree. It was a real treat to photograph this Mountain Bluebird in a tree, as they are often posted on fence posts, assuming you can get them to stay still long enough to even get a photo of them there.
I love these bright coloured birds, and getting the first sight of them every year is always a real treat because you know spring is here.
