(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /var/www/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114This past spring I had my first opportunity to head to the Yukon in search of Dall Sheep that live in the high elevations and alongside some of the steepest mountainsides that I have ever traversed.
I like how it is almost like this ram is sitting on the edge of the mountain and enjoying the view. It gives a little perspective of how high up he is (and we were), because he is actually higher than the mountains on the other side. It was actually impressive how on this windy day they were able to find the spots on the mountain that kept them out of the wind and in the sun (and relative warmth).
We will be heading back to this area this winter, and if you would like to join us, contact me for more info.
