It was a long tedious hike through snow and up and down the hillside to get to the location where there were Male Dall Sheep (Rams) hanging out. While photographing a group of Rams one suddenly came running from behind us. So I turned around to see if there were any others coming from that way, and was pleasantly surprised by this young Ram, who stopped in some of the most scenic spots to check us out before walking by us to join the rest of the Rams.
It really was surprising how after spending several hours with these guys they became really quite comfortable and went about their day while we enjoyed watching (and photographing) them.
