Lone Ranger

A lone wolf walking along the side of the water in the Khutzeymateen.  The wolves will be part of a pack, just like they do in the mainland, however, interesting enough, I have never seen more than two wolves together, and in the Khutzeymateen, have only see wolves wandering on their own.

What I like about this wolf shot is that it is so different from anything that I would get in the Alberta Rockies.  Not only is the color of the wolf different, with the rusty color mixed in with the greys, but also having it walking along moss covered rocks on the edge of the water is different from anything I would get to experience in Alberta.
