Beach Bum

This cute little Grizzly Bear Cub in the Khutzeymateen played himself out so he needed to lay down for a nap.  It’s kind of funny that he decided to lay in the sand, when he was surrounded by more lush looking grasses, although he would get lost if he laid down in them.

It is so interesting to see how comfortable these cubs were around us, which is probably attributable to the fact that their mothers were comfortable around us. In fact this cub was closer to us when he was napping than he was to his mother.
