A Coastal Grey Wolf hiding behind the rock and blending in with the grasses and yellow flowers, while she stops and checks out the situations behind her.

This particular wolf didn’t spend much time paying attention to us, and instead was on some sort of mission, and moving at a pretty decent pace while she trotted alongside the shoreline.  We were very fortunate to get the opportunity to see a wolf (two different ones) on each of the two trips I was on in the Khutzeymateen in 2017.
