Long Walk on the Beach

This Coastal Grey Wolf enjoyed a long walk on the beach, in addition to the shore, and grass, and everything in between.  This wolf travelled a long distance over a lot of different terrain on some kind of mission.  It didn’t seem to be that concerned with finding food, more like it was on a mission to meet up with other wolves, or possibly get away from something.

This wolf maintained a very steady trot throughout it’s over 40 minute journey (that we know of, but who knows how long it started before the skipper spotted the wolf, and how long it went afterwards).  I was surprised to learn that wolves are capable of travelling almost 50 kilometres in a day, but less surprised after watching this wolf, and the other one we saw a few days later with my next group.
