Munching with Mom

A mother Grizzly Bear and her cub munching on the sedge grass that makes the Khutzeymateen a Grizzly Bear hot spot in the spring.  When the bears come out of hibernation this nutritious and easy to access sedge grass help the Grizzly Bears put on the weight that they lost during winter hibernation.

I like how close the cub is sticking to her mother, and how the mother is making sure to keep an eye out while the cub enjoys munching.
