There are many opportunities to see and photograph Elk in Yellowstone National Park, but seeing a large male Elk in front of the beautiful hillside, is the hard part.
I got lucky when there were three Elk eating the shrubbery in this field, and this one line up nicely against the background. But they did not stick around long, giving me the opportunity to only grab a few images before they crossed the road and headed up the hillside and out of view.
