A Grizzly Bear mother stands up, and when she does her cub, her mimics her actions, and stands up next to her.  Making him look like her “mini me”.

Standing up in the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary allows for this mother bear to get a better look at (and smell of) the rest of the estuary, and make sure that she is able to keep her cub safe.

Following his mothers actions, will hopefully teach this cub necessary skills in order to stay safe when he is out on his own.
