River Otters helping to groom one another in Yellowstone National Park, with one getting that pesky area of the back that is hard to reach.  I like that even while grooming they kept their eyes on me, and were ready to jump into the water if needed.

Grooming is very important for River Otters to keep themselves warm, drying off their fur and letting air in.  Since they don’t have fat reserves, they fur and eating often is how they stay warm in frigid temperatures.
