Moose in Yellowstone National Park are interesting in that they seem to move to where the snow is the deepest, and where the weather is the most extreme, likely to avoid being the prey of the wolf packs that reside in the park.
This moose was enjoying a breakfast of of some twigs, while standing knee deep in snow. The reds really stand out against the black/brown of the moose’s coat.
