I actually really enjoy photographing in the rain, for many reasons. Sometimes you can get some really dramatic colors when shooting in the rain, and other times it just adds a new dynamic to just an ordinary photo.
This image of a sopping wet Grizzly Bear was photographed during my 2016 Fishing Grizzlies of the Taku trip. This image wouldn’t be the same if it wasn’t taken in the pouring rain. The fur of the bear wouldn’t look like it does, and the rain also mutes the background of this image, really making the bear pop.
If you would like to join me on this trip next year, contact Brad Hill at Natural Art Images.
