Out of the Shadows

A Pine Marten that had hidden within the shadows of a fallen tree, finally came out of the shadows and posed for a few short seconds for us.

The Pine Martens in the Great Bear Rainforest will scour the shorelines for dead fish that have been left behind by the Black Bears, Spirit Bears, and Grizzly Bears.  This one was pretty well fed, devouring a few leftovers in the short time that we could see it.
