A beautiful blonde Grizzly Cub stopping in front of a beautiful moss covered wall, on the edge of the water, to have look at us. The greens and yellows of the wall really make the cub stand out.
The reason why the cub was down at the edge of the water was because the Mom and and her two cubs were run off their alluvial fan by another mother grizzly bear with three cubs. So they walked along the shoreline going to the next alluvial fan looking for another safe place for the mother and her two cubs.
