I love when I get the opportunity to capture interactions among animals, especially babies with their mothers, like this mother and cub in the Khutzeymateen.
The mother laid down on the rocks to have a nap, a restless nap really, because she was constantly having to look up to check on her cubs that were feeding in the grass close-by.
Then one of her cubs approached her to see if she was still asleep. I’m sure human mothers might understand what that’s like, because I remember doing this to my own mother. I think the cub wanted to be nursed, but the mom was non-compliant in the request.
