Just as we were nearing the end of our trip in the Great Bear Rainforest, the skipper spotted a lot of splashing, and noticed that it was Orcas.

We travelled over to see a pod of Transient Orcas killing a Sea Lion.  We watched them for almost two hours as the beat him with their tails, flung him in the  air, and even launching themselves out of the water like this guy, and landing on him.

It was incredible the organization that it took to kill this large male Sea Lion, and how it seemed like all members of the pod played a part.  And then all of the sudden the Sea Lion disappeared, and so did the Orcas.
