A Black Bear was continuously wading through the water seeking out the salmon, which are an essential food source to helping the bears in this area survive the winter hibernation.
This Black Bear was funny because he pulled a fish out, and the put it at the end of the log, and enjoyed it like he was eating at a table.
In addition to the beautiful species that call the Great Bear Rainforest home, like this Black Bear, there is also beautiful backdrops and scenery like this moss covered tree fallen tree. I love the angle of this fallen tree, and how it leads from the outside edge of the frame all the way to the black bear.
