A Bald Eagle was hanging out on the beach, and stayed there while we approached and drifted by in our zodiac. I love photographing juvenile Bald Eagles because they can have some very interesting color changes in their feathers.

This particular one had a lot of white at the tip of the wings and along the neck. And then varying shades of brown from the base to the tips of the feathers.

This image was from the recent Marine Mammals trip, and while the focus is on Marine Mammals, the trip has so much to offer, including Bald Eagles.
