A very unique looking Black Bear in the Great Bear Rainforest going through nature’s obstacle course of large rocks on the shore in one of the inlets we explored. I like how in this image the Black Bear is coming out between two very big rocks on the rocky shore.

What makes travelling to the Great Bear Rainforest so much fun is that you never know what to expect, and you get the opportunity to have unique images year after year.  For example, the place where we saw this Black Bear, we actually saw a mom and two cubs on the shoreline the night before, but in previous three years I had not seen any Black Bears along this shoreline, or in this area at all.  I would have never guess I would see a Black Bear here, let alone such a unique looking bear.
