While I was out testing the new Canon 5D Mark IV compared to the 5D Mark III, I stopped at an area that usually has Pika that time of year, and I wanted to test the autofocus between the two cameras, and the Pika are definitely a test for the autofocus.

While photographing a Pika, it suddenly went on high alert, let out a squeak and then disappeared into the rocks. And I looked to my right, and saw this Short-tailed Weasel popped out in between the rocks.

These little weasels are actually carnivores, and will eat up to 40% of their own body weight each day, and will generally eat small mammals, or birds, and have been photographed taking down rabbits and hares.
