This image is from my recent trip to the Great Bear Rainforest, where we were treated to the opportunity of spending time with three different Spirit Bears, which is the most I have seen on a single trip.  We were lucky that they really spent some time around us, as opposed to just having a sighting and them going away.

In addition to seeing the Spirit Bears, it was also a treat that the salmon were still running and looking “relatively” fresh, like this one.  In the past, there were either no salmon left, or those left looked a little worse for wear.

This Spirit Bear caught several relatively healthy looking salmon, and walked a few of them towards us, so we could photograph her showing them off. Maybe a Fishing Spirit Bear trip is in the future.
